GTmetrix Connector

Intro

GTmetrix is a free tool that analyzes webpage speed performance. Use Domo's GTmetrix connector to retrieve site information so you can see, analyze, and act on it. To learn more about the GTmetrix API, visit their page (https://gtmetrix.com/api/).

You connect to your GTmetrix account in the Data Center. This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the GTmetrix connector user interface. General information for adding DataSets, setting update schedules, and editing DataSet information is discussed in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.

Prerequisites

To connect to your GTmetrix account and create a DataSet, you must have the following:

  • A GTmetrix API key

  • The email address associated with your GTmetrix account

You can generate or view API keys here: https://gtmetrix.com/api/. Note that you must be logged into GTmetrix to do this.

Connecting to Your GTmetrix Account

This section enumerates the options in the Credentials and Details panes in the GTmetrix Connector page. The components of the other panes in this page, Scheduling and Name & Describe Your DataSet, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in greater length in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.
