MQTT is a publish/subscribe, extremely simple and lightweight messaging protocol, designed for constrained devices and low-bandwidth, high-latency or unreliable networks. MQTT shows your real-time data from hundreds of IoT devices, and lets you set alerts to be notified when time-sensitive metrics change. Use Domo's MQTT connector to connect your MQTT data to Domo.
You connect to your MQTT account in the Data Center. This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the MQTT connector user interface. General information for adding DataSets, setting update schedules, and editing DataSet information is discussed in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.
Connecting to Your MQTT Data
This section enumerates the options in the Details panes in the MQTT Connector page. The components of the other panes in this page, Scheduling and Name & Describe Your DataSet, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in greater length in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.
This pane contains the details that help you to connect your MTTQ data to Domo.
