Encompass REST Connector
Intro
Encompass is one of the largest personal property and casualty insurance brands sold exclusively through a network. Use DOMO's Emcompass connector to manage loan data fields and values, to access borrower and business contact information, etc. To learn more about the Encompass API, visit their page (https://www.elliemae.com/developers/...eloper-connect).
You connect to your Encompass account in the Data Center. This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the Encompass REST connector user interface. General information for adding DataSets, setting update schedules, and editing DataSet information is discussed in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.
Prerequisites
To connect to Encompass and create a DataSet, you must have the following:
-
The username and password of your Encompass account
-
Your Encompass instance ID
-
The client ID for your Encompass OAuth app
-
The client secret for your Encompass OAuth app
You can find your client ID inside Encompass by selecting About Encompass in the Help menu and then About Encompass. You can also find it in the footer of any
Encompass email. For information about the other required credentials, reach out to your Encompass account representative.
Connecting to Your Encompass Account
This section enumerates the options in the Credentials and Details panes in the Encompass REST Connector page. The components of the other panes in this page, Scheduling and Name & Describe Your DataSet, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in greater length in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.
