Zenefits Connector

Version 2

Intro

Zenefits offers cloud-based software as a service for managing human resources, with a focus on health insurance coverage. Use the Domo Zenefits connector to get details about your employees, department and company information. To learn more about the Zenefits API, visit their page (https://www.zenefits.com/app-connect/).

You connect to your Zenefits application in the Data Center. This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the Zenefits connector user interface. General information for adding DataSets, setting update schedules, and editing DataSet information is discussed in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.

Prerequisites

To connect to your Zenefits application and create a DataSet, you must have the following:

  • A Zenefits OAuth App created in your Zenefits account. You will need to work with Zenefits if you are unsure how to do this.

  • A Zenefits application client ID. Make sure that your application includes https://oauth.domo.com/api/data/v2/oauth/providers/zenefits/exchange as the Redirect URI or the connection will not work.

  • A Zenefits application client secret.

  • The username and password for your Zenefits account.

Connecting to Your Zenefits Account

This section enumerates the options in the Credentials and Details panes in the Zenefits Connector page. The components of the other panes in this page, Scheduling and Name & Describe Your DataSet, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in greater length in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.
