Zenefits Connector
Intro
Zenefits offers cloud-based software as a service for managing human resources, with a focus on health insurance coverage. Use the Domo Zenefits connector to get details about your employees, department and company information. To learn more about the Zenefits API, visit their page (https://www.zenefits.com/app-connect/).
You connect to your Zenefits account in the Data Center. This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the Zenefits connector user interface. General information for adding DataSets, setting update schedules, and editing DataSet information is discussed in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.
Prerequisites
To connect to your Zenefits application and create a DataSet, you must have the following:

The list of scopes you want to request from Zenefits. For more information about scopes, see https://developers.zenefits.com/docs/permissions.

The username and password for your Zenefits account.
Connecting to Your Zenefits Account
This section enumerates the options in the Credentials and Details panes in the Zenefits Connector page. The components of the other panes in this page, Scheduling and Name & Describe Your DataSet, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in greater length in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.
Credentials Pane
This pane contains fields for entering credentials to connect to your Zenefits application. The following table describes what is needed for each field:

Scopes |
Enter the list of scopes you want to request from Zenefits. Separate scopes with the "+" symbol. For example: platform+people+companies+locations+departments+employments+banks+company_banks+people.department+people.location+people.manager+people.work_email+people.date_of_birth+people.gender Some column date will only be returned when the appropriate scope is added. For more information about scopes, see https://developers.zenefits.com/docs/permissions. |
Once you have entered valid Zenefits credentials, you are taken to the Zenefits OAuth screen where you are asked to enter your Zenefits credentials. You can use the same account any time you go to create a new Zenefits DataSet. You can manage connector accounts in the Accounts tab in the Data Center. This pane contains a primary Reports menu, along with various other menus which may or may not appear depending on the report type you select.
