Beonic Traffic Insights Connector

Intro

Beonic Traffic Insights is a brick-and-mortar retail visitor counter solution. Beonic Technologies uses internet-connected IoT hardware to count visitors to your storefront, enabling you to better make decisions regarding foot traffic, sales and marketing. Use the Domo Beonic Traffic Insights connector to receive information about the visitor traffic to your storefront, and metadata about your Beonic Technologies IoT devices. To learn more about the Beonic Traffic Insight API, visit their page (https://www.beonic.com/products/traffic-insight).

You connect to your Beonic Traffic Insights account in the Data Center. This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the Beonic Traffic Insights connector user interface. General information for adding DataSets, setting update schedules, and editing DataSet information is discussed in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.

Prerequisites

To connect to your Beonic account and create a DataSet, you must have the following:

  • Your Beonic Traffic Insights customer ID

  • Your Beonic Traffic Insights account username and password

Connecting to Your Beonic Account

This section enumerates the options in the Credentials and Details panes in the Beonic Connector page. The components of the other panes in this page, Scheduling and Name & Describe Your DataSet, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in greater length in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.

Credentials Pane

This pane contains fields for entering credentials to connect to your Beonic account. The following table describes what is needed for each field:
