Fluxx Connector

You connect to your Fluxx account in the Data Center. This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the Fluxx connector user interface. General information for adding DataSets, setting update schedules, and editing DataSet information is discussed in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.


To connect to your Fluxx account and create a DataSet, you must have the following:

  • The URL of your Fluxx instance

  • Your Fluxx client ID

  • Your Fluxx client secret

To obtain your credentials, reach out to your Fluxx account representative. 

Connecting to Your Fluxx Account

This section enumerates the options in the Credentials and Details panes in the Fluxx Connector page. The components of the other panes in this page, Scheduling and Name & Describe Your DataSet, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in greater length in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.

Credentials Pane

This pane contains fields for entering credentials to connect to your Fluxx account. The following table describes what is needed for each field:  




Enter the URL of your Fluxx instance.

Client ID

Enter your Fluxx client ID.

Client Secret

Enter your Fluxx client secret. 

Once you have entered valid Fluxx credentials, you can use the same account any time you go to create a new Fluxx DataSet. You can manage connector accounts in the Accounts tab in the Data Center. For more information about this tab, see Managing User Accounts for Connectors.

Details Pane

This pane contains a primary Reports menu, along with various other menus which may or may not appear depending on the report type you select.




Select the Fluxx report you want to run. The following reports are available:

Applications Report

Retrieves records that identify requests and grants.

Grantee Report

Retrieves data related to requests.

Model Theme Report

Retrieves model theme data records. 

Organization Report

Retrieves records that identify organizations.

Payments Report

Retrieves payment information for all requests.

People Report

Retrieves records that identify users.

Registration Report

Retrieves letter of inquiry data.

Query (optional)

Enter the search term you want to filter your report by.


Select the desired style for your search results.

Include Date Filter?

Allows you to filter your report by date.


Select the date range for your report.
