Deleting DataSets

You can delete a DataSet from your Domo instance if you are the DataSet owner or have an "Admin" default security role or a custom role with the "Manage DataSets" privilege enabled. For more information about changing DataSet owners, see Changing the Owner of a DataSet.

You can delete DataSets one at a time or in bulk. To take bulk actions on DataSets, you must have an "Admin" default security role or a custom role with the "Manage DataSets" privilege enabled.

To delete a DataSet from your Domo instance,

  1. Open the Data Center by selecting Data Center in the new_app_icon.png menu.
    The Data Center opens with the DataSets tab open by default.

  2. Locate the DataSet you want to delete.
    For more information about searching and filtering DataSets in the Data Center, see Data Center Layout.

  3. Mouse over the row for the DataSet and click the dataset_gear_icon.png icon. 

  4. Select Delete.

  5. Click Delete to confirm.

You can also delete a DataSet from the details view for that DataSet by selecting Delete in the wrench menu. For more information about the details view, see Data Center Layout - View Details.

To delete DataSets in bulk,

  1. Open the Data Center by selecting Data Center in the new_app_icon.png menu.
    The Data Center opens with the DataSets tab open by default.

  2. Locate one of the DataSets you want to delete.

  3. Mouse over the row for the DataSet and click the circled checkmark that pops up over the connector icon.

  4. In the blue bar that appears at the top of the screen, click the data_center_bulk_gear_icon.png icon.

  5. Select Delete.

All of the DataSets you have selected should now be deleted.
