Appstore Layout

Version 26

Intro

In the Appstore, you can select Apps to add to your Domo instance, view information on all installed Apps, and remove installed Apps. The Appstore is composed of a main page divided into several tabs, as follows:

  • Featured, which contains recommended Apps; you can also view all other Apps and connectors

  • Apps, which shows all Apps you may install in your Domo

  • Connectors, which shows all connectors in Domo

  • Bots, which lists NLQ Bots and allows to you deploy them to a Buzz channel

  • Public DataSets, which lets you deploy various public DataSets right to your Domo instance

  • Installed, which shows all Apps that have been installed in your Domo

If you click a thumbnail for an App, Bot, or public DataSet, a Details/install page opens for the App. If you click a connector, the configuration screen for the connector opens. For more information, see Connecting to Data with Connectors.

You can filter the content that appear on any tab in the Appstore. You do this using the Search menu in the upper center of the Appstore page. In most tabs, you can also sort by rating or by ascending or descending alphabetical order using the Sort menu.

You are not limited to one version of an App per company Domo instance. For example, multiple users could each have their own version of the Facebook QuickStart app. Each user's individual version of the Facebook QuickStart app would contain cards powered up by his or her personal Facebook data.

This section discusses each of the tabs in the Appstore.

Featured Tab

The Featured tab contains a carousel of recommended Apps you can navigate through. It also contains cards for all Apps available to be installed in your Domo, as well as all connectors. The following screenshot points out the most important parts of the Featured tab:
